NaNoWriMo has The Traveling Shovel of Death, a plot device that may show up in hundreds of different NaNovels and appears to be the same shovel that jumps from story to story.

Here at Ink Slingers, we're not quite so bloodthirsty, but the idea is the same. We award 250 Traveling Inkspot Accolades for using "ink," "inky," "inked," "inking," etc. in the work you post for review here, whether query, opening pages, synopsis, short fiction, what have you. To claim your TIAs, be sure to post a note in this thread directing us to the post where your "inky" quote appears.
